I am influenced by the Surrealist painters. They placed imaginary
creatures on vivid, dreamlike landscapes and explored their interest
in the psyche and the subconscious through the medium of painting.
Also, I am influenced by ancient Peruvian art, its murals, its ceramic
vessels and its textiles.
My creatures are derived from these two worlds and inhabit landscapes
from an other world and from a historic past.
